Assistant Project Manager

in our General Contracting Division - Design Build Department to be based out of our

Canton, GA

office location. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for working with Project managers and helping them organize the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse and complex construction endeavors. What You’ll Do: Assist in maintaining job budgets. Assist in the handling of permitting needs. Assist in site supervision and material courier when necessary. Understand project documents and scope. Assist in management of projects. Assist in closing out projects. Assist in overall coordination for project manager. What You Bring: Good communication, effective communication with clients, subcontractors and material suppliers. Solid computer skills included in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-Point). Ability to modify PDFs. Ability to develop Excel formulas, V-Lookups and creating pivot tables. Solid organizational skills. 2-3 years of construction experience or education in the construction industry a must; experience with a GC is preferred. Fast learner, in a fast-paced environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
