Innovation Project Manager, Energy Materials
to develop and execute product lines focused on generating and storing energy, including green hydrogen and clean energy technologies. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize impactful product lines that support Corning’s growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute product line strategies. Develop market value propositions and pricing strategies for energy materials. Identify and manage critical projects focused on materials and processes supporting energy & green hydrogen production. Address product performance, quality, and customer needs. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape in clean energy sectors. Collaborate with Program Management and Commercial Technology to design and execute strategy. Optimize product portfolio through segmentation and rationalization. Evaluate new product requests with business cases and financial viability. Determine pricing strategy to ensure value capture and margin improvement. Oversee product obsolescence with strategies to maximize value and minimize waste. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Product Line Management or commercial roles. Proven project management and cross-functional leadership experience. Commercial acumen and customer-focused mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. Experience managing teams. Financial analysis and accounting skills. Strategic planning experience.
