Manage a team of hourly employees. Schedule shifts and verify time and attendance tracking. Plan, organize and manage the work of hourly team members, ensuring proper deployment and task completion to Metropolis standards. Interview, hire and develop team members; ensure all necessary training is completed. Create, implement, and manage forecasting, planning, and budgeting for assigned locations. Control spending and keep expenses within the approved budget. Maintain maintenance documents and meet maintenance goals. Promote safe work practices with safety audits and coaching. Work closely with the client to define performance measurements and execution. Ensure client and Metropolis operational documentation is complete and recorded. Uphold Metropolis standards of customer service; greet customers, address inquiries, and coach staff to meet service standards. Implement company initiatives and processes; conduct timely performance evaluations. Perform location-based operational responsibilities as required. What we’re looking for

High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills; effective written and verbal communication; ability to exchange accurate information. Ability to detect safety concerns and adjust accordingly. Maintain confidentiality of work-related information. Ability to work in a diverse environment with sensitivity to diversity and inclusion. Willingness to work extended hours and a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for a 24/7 operation. Nice to have

Some college preferred. Prior business experience preferred. Scheduling and payroll knowledge a plus. Compensation and culture

The anticipated base salary for this position is $75,000.00 USD to $90,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, disability coverage, life insurance, stock options, bonuses, and more. Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our office-first model requires on-site presence at least four days a week. Metropolis may utilize an automated employment decision tool (AEDT) to assess candidacy. Data collected may be used for hiring decisions and, if hired, may become part of employee records.
