Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating a combination of administrative, operational, workforce, and budgeting tasks for a department/school/college to ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations. Supports leadership in development and implementation of programs and strategies, collaborates with other departments, maintains records, and ensures compliance with regulations and university policies. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities
Management of department administrative staff including recruitment, retention, and daily operations leadership.
Oversight of department policies and procedures including development, maintenance, updates.
Coordination of building and department emergency preparedness program.
Management of Moran online communication tools (Pulse, Sharepoint, etc.) and associated department‑wide information such as policies and organizational charts.
Assist senior leadership with basic building operations as assigned including parking services liaison, building security (C‑Cure) updates, general meeting and customer service needs.
Minimum Qualifications EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Manager, Administration Management:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
Senior Manager, Administration Management:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 8 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 6 years of directly related work experience.
Associate Director, Administration Management:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 10 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 8 years of directly related work experience.
Preferences:
5+ years experience in an academic health care setting working with physician faculty.
