As you inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, you’ll build client relationships that strengthen over time. As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll lead as the front-line manager, developing tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives. You will be a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Responsibilities

Provide leadership and development of tax office associates to deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve growth objectives. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns and ensure proper scheduling and conflict resolution. Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office work is completed on time with quality standards and priority alignment. Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions; lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information. Create associate work schedules, manage timekeeping and overtime, and prepare tax returns as required. Conduct timely performance reviews and address associate issues in partnership with the Associate Relations Center. Qualifications

Prior experience in a customer service, shift leader, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns); annual continuing education to meet IRS/state requirements. Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; customer-centric mindset. Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to business needs; high school diploma or equivalent or higher. Benefits and Community
