Supply Chain Planner III – Support Chattanooga Location: Chattanooga, TN. Join BASF’s Dispersions & Resins business in North America as a Supply Chain Planner, supporting the production facility in Chattanooga in ensuring customer delivery service goals, inventory targets, and cost optimization.

Formula for Success As part of the North America Supply Chain team, you will manage a product portfolio to support delivery service goals, inventory targets, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
Review previous production and establish a finite production schedule based on forecast (or allocation) to meet customer demand.
Support the scheduling and transportation logistics for finished goods.
Perform month‑end inventory reconciliation and weekly cycle counts for finished goods.
Manage dysfunctional inventory.
Track Tier 2 inventory – heel batches, excess material, and customer returns.
Utilize SAP and DP&S board versus Excel sheet scheduling effectively.
Improve process order management.
Work with the SAP group to create background jobs for automated repetitive tasks.
Handle master data setup, costing, BOM creation, and master routing for a streamlined process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, chemistry, or related field.
Master’s or advanced degree in business management, supply chain, chemical engineering, or related field preferred.
4+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, business management, or manufacturing, preferably in the chemicals market.
Experience in manufacturing or material‑based companies.
Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication skills for presenting at various organizational levels.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP/MRP system tools.
Expertise in planning, supply/demand balancing, inventory strategy, network planning, and EDN strategy.
Strong people skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Analytical skills and ability to pull and analyze data quickly.
