Where You Fit In As part of Encore's mission, we have recently joined forces with Fire & Safety Commodities based out of LaPlace, Louisiana. This partnership expands our footprint in Louisiana and we’re looking to add an Operations Specialist to our LaPlace office. In this role you will be the second layer between our customers and our technicians, ensuring every job is completed with our approach: “what we said we would do, how we said we would do it, when we said we’d have it done.” The pace is fast and volume high, requiring a proactive personality driven to meet tough deadlines and achieve long-term objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and oversee the service delivery for specific product lines
Review scope of work and service contracts to ensure accuracy
Match billing with contract quotes and notice even the smallest differences
Investigate scope of work performed with billing discrepancies
Communicate with customers on a daily basis with invoice changes
Maintain focus on executing end of month billing cycle
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Great attitude and strong desire to succeed (though we value experience too)
College degree preferred, but two years of related work experience is equally impressive
Prior experience in a service business or scheduling position
Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office) and willing to learn new industry‑specific programs
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
