Program Assistant - Immigration Law Project

Responsibilities
Assisting the program with administrative support and operational tasks
Greet visitors
Answer and direct phone calls; respond to general phone inquiries
Receive and distribute faxes and mail
Maintain and update monthly statistics
Maintain resource materials and databases (CMS, tracking sheets, contract management assistance)
Process purchase orders, payment requests, reconciliations, and funder timesheets in a timely and accurate fashion
Assist in coordinating and/or providing support for special events
Word processing, proofreading memos and other documents; filing duties
Order, distribute, and maintain inventory of special purchases
Collaborate with Safe Horizon programs/departments and external vendors (IS&T, Facilities, Purchasing, Accounts Payable)
Other program-related administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, writing, and analytical skills; high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and initiative
Knowledge of domestic violence issues strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits Hiring Range: $23.08 - $24.08 Hourly
Full-time Hours: 35 Hours per week
