Sr Supply Planner that sits between demand planning team and manufacturing. Is the liaison between the two sides. Helps qualify how much factories can produce and how much demand is forecasted or expected by senior leaders.
Must Haves
5+ YOE in Supply Planning, working directly with demand planning teams and manufacturing – buying from the supply/factory side NOT retail buying.
Understands data points for product batch runs, determining lead time, following compliance with production capacity with factories and what the demand planning team needs, finding demand expectations and supply reality.
SAP expert, knows SAP logic paths, can understand outputs, can troubleshoot if the data doesn't match expectation.
Nice to Have
Strong storyteller, can explain technical topics to a wide range of audiences.
Influencing teams and outcomes, can deliver bad news when expectations are not possible, doesn't push blame but gives constructive feedback, solution oriented on how to move forward.
Has Nike or related industry experience with supply chain and inventory planning.
Related industries experience: Finished goods, short lifecycle products, high (500+ SKU) products – seasons, color ways, etc.
Global Sr Supply Planner (Perspective) We are looking for an individual proficient in end-to-end supply chain to create and deliver reliable supply plans to serve our consumers while aligning to inventory objectives. The planner is consumer focused, process and KPI driven, and is comfortable leveraging data and advanced analytics to drive and influence cross‑functional stakeholders with clear and compelling insights, options and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day management of a segment of our full lead‑time and/or responsive business.
Work on initiatives to improve our supply planning capabilities and decision making.
Play an active role in creating a dynamic culture of respect and inclusion.
Engage and collaborate with global and geography product, merch, planning, analytics, sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure supply is positioned for our most critical product and demand priorities.
Partner with Tech and analytics teams to gain insights and build sustainable capabilities to improve the speed and quality of our decision making.
Connect within our team to share and receive best practice insights as we relentlessly work to improve our operational excellence and contributions to fuel growth.
