Job Summary Each day at Taziki’s is a little different – opening shifts focus on prep and catering orders, while closing shifts drive take‑out orders and provide dine‑in service. You’ll lead the crew, set the tone for the shift, and keep the kitchen and front of house running efficiently.

Responsibilities
Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
Opening & closing tasks
Be responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
Mastering menu and product knowledge
Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
Prepping food and doing side work
Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
Proper food handling and storage of food products
Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Prior food service experience preferred
Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team members
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures
Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food
Work flexible schedule
Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy
Must have or obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment

Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
Obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment
Your Working Conditions / Hours
Morning shift – 7am – 4pm
Evenings – 4pm – 10pm
Weekends – when applicable
Holidays – when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Physical Requirements
Walking/standing for extended periods

Lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds
Wiping
Twisting
