Overview Job Title: Business Development Manager – Managed IT & Cybersecurity Services (NYC/LI)

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our client base in the NYC and Long Island region. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for our comprehensive suite of Managed IT and Cybersecurity services. The ideal candidate should have strong track record of success in selling complex IT solutions, specifically within the MSP and cybersecurity space.

This role requires a strategic thinker and proven sales leader, capable of winning new logos, expanding existing accounts, and cultivating C-level relationships to drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through targeted market research, networking, outbound campaigns, and channel strategies.

Drive new logo acquisition and expand relationships within existing accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.

Understand client needs and design tailored solutions across software consulting, IT services, and customer experience technologies (CMS, CRM, CCM, UX/UI).

Manage the complete sales process — prospecting, solutioning, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure — ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.

Develop and execute effective GTM strategies, build alliances, and maintain an active pipeline with accurate forecasting.

Establish strong, trusted relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.

Work with cross-functional and global teams (marketing, product, operations, and delivery) to co-create and deliver impactful client solutions.

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, engagement/financial models, and emerging technologies to identify new growth areas.

Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events to expand visibility and network reach.

Maintain accurate pipeline and account data using CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) to track performance and drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; Post-graduation in Sales/Marketing preferred.

8-12 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the software consulting/IT services / Cybersecurity industry.

Demonstrated success in winning new accounts and expanding existing client relationships, preferably in technology consulting, Managed IT Services (MSP) or Cybersecurity Industry.

Strong knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, cloud platforms, APIs, and customer experience management solutions.

Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets in competitive markets.

Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong presentation/solutioning skills.

Established network of C-level business contacts is highly desirable.
