About the Opportunity: We are currently partnering with a highly respected general contractor in Utah to identify an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead key infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about building the future of Utah's transportation network. Role Overview: As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of UDOT-funded projects-from pre-construction planning through final delivery. You'll serve as the primary liaison between the contractor, UDOT officials, subcontractors, and field teams, ensuring projects meet all technical, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of UDOT infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and transit-related construction. Coordinate with UDOT Resident Engineers and inspectors to ensure compliance with agency standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation. Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and field execution. Monitor safety performance and enforce site safety protocols. Resolve field issues and change orders efficiently and professionally. Represent the contractor in stakeholder meetings and public forums when required. Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: 5+ years in construction project management, preferably with DOT or heavy civil projects. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, HCSS). Certifications: OSHA 30 preferred; PMP or CCM a plus. Knowledge: Familiarity with UDOT specifications, standards, and project delivery methods. Other: Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across Utah. Employment type
