Project Manager – Pave & Base (Asphalt) | Utah
Our client, a well-established, family-owned asphalt contractor in Utah, has partnered with AGS Associates to find a Project Manager to lead pave and base projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of projects while working with a close-knit, experienced team. Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of asphalt pave and base projects—from pre-construction through closeout. Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and materials to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. Review project plans, specs, and schedules, ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. Maintain strong communication with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams. Monitor quality, safety, and performance standards on-site. Experience:
5+ years of experience managing asphalt paving or heavy civil projects (base work a plus). Strong knowledge of DOT and municipal standards in Utah or surrounding states. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage field teams and project logistics effectively. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Seniority level:
