As a Power Project Manager, the individual will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and approvals for all JSP power reconfiguration and installation efforts. In this role, the Power Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all power-related contractual deliverables are being achieved, and that LCRs, power reconfigurations, and new deployments are being addressed according to the government’s scheduling requirements. This position will be required to work nights and weekends, a minimum of once monthly. Responsibilities Leads a team of 3 individuals to ensure the success of power reconfiguration, deployment, and monitoring of all JSP rack-mounted UPS. Supports all authorized power-related outages and efforts, including onsite participation. Opens ASIs bridge lines during outages, coordinating with the internal contract team and other relevant stakeholders, such as the JSP Network Team, to ensure outages are managed successfully with minimal impacts. Ensures customer communications are disseminated prior to each outage and coordinates with end-users to meet outage requirements. Supports installation, lifecycle refresh, and decommissioning of rack-mounted UPS units and NICs, including after-hours and weekends. Uses JSP Remedy to submit Work Orders, Incidents, and Change tickets, providing regular updates. Coordinates with JSP VIP customers in their residences to inventory, install, replace, and decommission rack-mounted UPS and NICs. Works directly with JSP government leadership and other JSP contract leads for buy-in on efforts and changes. Manages supply chain of rack-mounted UPS, coordinating with JSP’s UPS supplier, and manages storage and deployment organization. Oversees inventory and asset management of all deployed rack-mounted UPS, including regular inventories and submissions to the CMDB. Implements quality assessment/quality control programs for infrastructure changes, aligning with DoD and JSP best practices. Creates and retrieves reports on progress, including monthly contractual deliverables such as Survey/Inventory and Power Infrastructure Change Progress reports. Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office. Required Qualifications/Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Prior hands-on team lead/management experience related to IT. Experience using MS Project and other scheduling tools. Availability to work evenings and weekends supporting Authorized Service Interruptions (at least 1 weekend/month). Ability to coordinate projects and respond to government taskings with minimal supervision. Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action. Experience within JSP or similar DoD environment. Experience using SharePoint. Ability to operate government-owned vehicles and maintain a safe driving record. Must have and maintain a Secret personnel clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience Security+ Certification preferred, but not required. About the company
