Overview Transdev in Atlanta, GA is hiring a

Utility Worker . The Utility Worker is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Compensation

$17.65 - $21.39 per hour

Starting pay of $17.65 with progression to $21.39 over 4 years

Vacation: up to 14 days per year

Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full-time employees; 5 hours monthly for part-time employees

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior

Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles

Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log fluids

Download drive cameras and probes; log fare boxes

Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities

Report maintenance issues to supervisor

Other duties as required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years

Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed

Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

Work outside in varying temperatures and weather conditions; 100% of work is outside, may work alone or in remote locations

Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or uneven surfaces

Push and pull objects up to 20 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; may bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment stored at ground level

Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise
