We also service customers utilizing our 50+ nationwide service centers; each offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. Our support includes a 24/7 in-house call-center, providing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to fleets anywhere, anytime. We are currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II. The role involves performing licensed DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. The Technician II performs advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuing to learn new skills and techniques. A successful candidate complies with all company policies and achieves high performance metrics. DUTIES:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”), DOT Inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters, alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, etc. Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck equipment using test instruments like handheld computers and pressure gauges. Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation. Identify problems, evaluate information, and generate solutions. Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck. Maintain and operate the service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and pre-/post-trip inspections. Communicate effectively with clients to assess needs, provide assistance, and resolve problems. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Use hand tools, precision instruments, welding equipment, lifts, and jacks. Document work performed, parts used, and findings using company devices and applications. Complete all documentation accurately and timely. Work independently, managing daily schedules and productivity. Obtain parts from vendors as needed. Coordinate with management for approvals and discuss findings. Follow safety, health, environmental policies, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT. REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience, or equivalent education/certification and 5 years’ experience. Possess a set of hand tools necessary for the job. Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months. Pass DOT-regulated background screening and physical. Current DOT medical card or valid DOT physical required. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Certifications to Obtain Within 18 Months:

ASE T8 (PMI) Preferred Certifications:

ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, or 608/609 certifications. Skills & Abilities:

Ability to understand new information, lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods. Additional Details:
