Retail Backroom Coordinator

Responsibilities
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates process merchandise efficiently.
Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, coded, and maintained following signage standards.
Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain an efficient flow of goods.
Monitor team productivity and coach as needed.
Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
Maintain cleanliness, recovery, recycling, and hazardous waste programs in the backroom.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Partner with Management on associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs and support store shrink reduction goals.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Capable of multi‑tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Team player working effectively with peers and supervisors.
Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
Able to train others.
1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
