Project Manager – Healthcare – Remote
The Project Manager will be a member of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The PMO Team leads client software implementation projects and works closely with the Product Management team to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
Responsibilities
Effectively manage client communications and expectations.
Own the customer relationship – function as primary point of contact during implementation and maintain position as trusted advisor to clients.
Define implementation projects, execute tasks, complete deliverables, coordinate staffing, and monitor and report results.
Develop and deliver training.
Act as subject matter expert to gather complete and accurate business requirements from clients.
Collaborate with Product Management and Business Analyst to balance product vision and voice of customer, ensuring documentation accurately reflects client needs for Development and QA teams.
Present project statuses to executive team.
Manage issues, risks, and changes using appropriate processes.
Coordinate estimation of development effort and train team members.
Requirements
Proven, hands‑on experience successfully implementing SaaS and/or enterprise software applications.
Direct experience in consulting for external clients and managing complex software projects (3‑5 years).
Strong technical skill set; familiarity with file formats, integrations, HTML and specialty pharmacy industry knowledge (preferred).
Experience with pharmaceutical, special pharmacy, hub or related industries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
Self‑starter able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
High ethical standards, personal integrity and superior interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and adapt to rapid change.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related discipline).
3‑5 years of experience managing client‑facing software projects.
Specialty pharmacy industry experience preferred.
Projected hourly range: $65‑75/hr.
