Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our team and support the successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects. This role offers a unique balance of field and office work, with approximately
60% of time spent on-site across Long Island overseeing and managing project locations , and the remaining
40% in-office handling administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination . It provides an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination while working closely with senior management, contractors, architects, and engineers. Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking systems. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on scope, on schedule, and within budget. Review and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and quality standards. Prepare meeting agendas, progress reports, and documentation for internal and client-facing updates. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications. Assist in the procurement process, including soliciting bids and evaluating vendor proposals. Support senior managers in resolving field issues, coordinating logistics, and managing project stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–5 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, or related role preferred. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and construction management software (Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Competitive salary range of $75,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
