As a Code Sensei, you will guide students (ages 7-14) through coding fundamentals and game development projects. Proficiency in Unity and C# is required, as students will work on game development and interactive coding projects. You will foster a positive and welcoming environment that encourages learning and curiosity in coding and STEM. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, great with kids, and knowledgeable in coding fundamentals, with the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning experience. Responsibilities
Lead small groups of students in game development and coding activities using Unity and C# Facilitate camps and special programs focused on Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube content creation, and Lego Robotics Create an interactive and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to explore coding concepts Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and levels Provide feedback to students and communicate with parents about progress Assist in setting up and maintaining classroom materials and equipment Qualifications
Proficiency in Unity and C# is required Background in Computer Science, Game Development, STEM Education, or related fields (Preferred) Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (Preferred) Experience in coding or teaching, particularly with children (Preferred) Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to explain complex coding concepts in simple and engaging ways Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for helping students succeed Must be organized, reliable, and able to maintain a positive classroom environment Flexibility to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and some weekends About Us
