Overview

Transportation Engineer role at AECOM in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Transportation Business Line is seeking a creative, highly talented, and self-motivated Engineer for immediate employment with the Highway Group in Cincinnati. The qualified applicant will demonstrate experience in Civil Engineering related to roadway and highway design, drainage design, pavement design, and the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications and construction estimates. Responsibilities

Initially assigned to the Highway Design Team on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. Support projects including: Intersection and Interchange Improvement Plans; Interstate Reconstruction Plans; Urban and Rural Roadway Improvement Plans; Traffic Control Plans; Maintenance of Traffic Plans; Drainage and Stormwater BMP Design. Follow ODOT, KYTC, and municipal standards and perform engineering calculations. This role provides the opportunity to directly support transformational projects, including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor—one of the largest highway infrastructure projects in the country, involving design and construction of a new bridge crossing of the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington, Kentucky, along with 8 miles of significant highway improvements. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications

Preferred minimum 5 years of experience with emphasis in civil engineering fields such as highway design, traffic control design, stormwater and multimodal transportation projects Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio and/or Kentucky or ability to obtain PE license in 6 months Good written and verbal communication skills Experience using Bentley OpenRoads software and MS Office Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required Good interpersonal skills and command of English, with clear written and verbal communication, time management, and a positive work attitude Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. About AECOM
