Roadway Engineer / PM
with a highly reputable client of ours. This position is available in
Toledo, Cleveland, or Columbus, Ohio . In this role, you'll work on
local roadway and highway projects
(excluding heavy highway) while being part of a team that fosters
learning, collaboration, and professional growth . Unlike many firms, this position allows you to

Key Responsibilities: Perform and/or manage roadway design tasks, including pavement design, horizontal and vertical alignment, drainage systems (open/closed), and BMP design. Develop construction plans, cost estimates, drainage calculations, and technical reports. Participate in client meetings, respond to RFIs, and assist in proposal preparation. Mentor and oversee entry-level engineers, ensuring efficient task management and budget oversight. Maintain precise calculations and records in accordance with ODOT, OTIC, and local municipal standards. Clearly communicate project scope and technical requirements with team members. Qualifications & Experience: 5-15 yearswith P.E. Licensure Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam. Strong knowledge of ODOT and municipal design standards. Sense of humor.
