Service Advisor – Automotive

We need more than a Service Advisor; we need an expert in the art and science of customer service—someone who is equally comfortable greeting customers, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers and our service technicians.
Job Responsibilities
Greet service department customers promptly and courteously with a positive attitude
Listen to customers and clearly communicate repair needs to technicians
Upsell recommended or additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods
Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs
Adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Follow up on repairs and keep customers informed of progress
Manage and sell extended warranties
Inspect repair quality and ensure completion of all work
Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup
Explain repairs and associated costs to customers
Address minor customer concerns and complaints
Keep the Service Manager informed of issues and potential problems
Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores according to dealership standards
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and is competitive with Fortune 500 companies.
Benefits
Pay range: $36,000 - $77,000. Exact pay varies based on skills, experience, and education. Benefits include medical insurance with HSA options (including employer contributions), dental, vision, and life insurance, paid maternity leave, PTO after 90 days, up to three weeks of vacation depending on tenure, 401(k) with employer match, and additional supplemental products.
