The Foreman will oversee field operations and lead
Emergency Response Teams
in conducting environmental and industrial services. This position requires
technical expertise ,
regulatory knowledge , and
strong leadership
to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and safety in all aspects of hazardous material management. Primary Responsibilities
Emergency Response & Field Operations:
Direct and coordinate response efforts for environmental incidents, including
spill containment, remediation, and industrial cleanup . Safety & Compliance Management:
Enforce TAS safety protocols and ensure adherence to
EPA, OSHA, DOT, and hazardous waste regulations . Project Supervision & Execution:
Develop, implement, and oversee worksite activities, including
tank cleanings, biohazard cleanup, demolition, material transfers, and disposal operations . Regulatory & Risk Management:
Identify compliance risks, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with
local, state, and federal agencies
to meet regulatory requirements. Material Handling & Disposal:
Oversee the classification, staging, profiling, and transport of
hazardous and non-hazardous materials
for proper disposal. Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
Supervise the use of
specialized industrial and remediation equipment
to ensure efficient performance and regulatory adherence. Team Leadership & Personnel Management:
Manage field staff, including
operators, drivers, and technicians , ensuring high-performance teamwork and project completion. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination:
Communicate effectively with clients, officials, and regulatory bodies to facilitate project planning and execution. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
Analyze operational challenges, provide technical solutions, and implement
corrective actions
to optimize efficiency. Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support emergency response and environmental service operations. Benefits

Qualifications & Requirements
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in
environmental services, industrial operations, hazardous waste management, or emergency response . Regulatory Knowledge:
Strong understanding of
EPA, OSHA, DOT
guidelines regarding hazardous materials. Leadership & Supervisory Skills:
Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects under
time-sensitive conditions . Technical & Mechanical Aptitude:
Experience operating and maintaining
specialized environmental remediation equipment . Communication & Relationship Management:
Ability to engage effectively with
customers, agencies, and stakeholders . Flexible Scheduling:
Availability for
on-call emergency response, rapid deployment, and non-standard working hours . Computer Skills : Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software. Education Requirements
3-5 years performing all aspects of Emergency Spill Response Knowledge of petroleum products and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals CDL "Class B" Hazmat endorsement HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications Knowledge of petroleum products and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals Physical / Mental Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds. Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders. May occasionally deal with heights. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees and managers. Effective conflict resolution abilities. Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. Ability to read, write and do mathematics. Ability to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection. Consist of both office setting and physical jobsite. Able to work in confined spaces when needed. • Ability to work in or around extreme temperatures.
