As part of our produce team, you’ll help ensure availability, cleanliness and freshness, impacting the member shopping experience. You will be on the front lines of customer service and contribute to a team that offers our members more for less. What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; adapt to the needs of the business; track goods and maintain in-stock levels; help control shrinkage. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation per company guidelines; follow laws and policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage their use. Be an Owner: drive area performance; stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: model high-quality service and products; bring energy and commitment; comply with policies and ethics. What you’ll value
