Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; use digital tools; manage stock using perpetual inventory techniques; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify and address improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.
