Overview

Operations Supervisor - ROS at United Rentals Life. Role involves coordinating and directing the delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity. Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, branch metric performance and Rental Flow efficiency, while contributing sales and customer service support. What you’ll do

Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, identifying root causes and opportunities for improvement, and providing coaching and feedback to staff with recommendations for corrective actions Support sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures Maximize operational effectiveness by ensuring staff are trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; monitor and control costs to drive profitability May be responsible for day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposits Motivate, coach and train personnel; promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and accountability Other duties as needed Requirements

High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred 3+ years of sales and operational experience 2+ years supervision and leadership experience Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related Strong motivational and leadership skills; superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
