As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Timus Networks, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to drive new business opportunities. Your outreach efforts—through cold calls, emails, and social networking—will be instrumental in introducing prospects to our solutions and setting the foundation for long-term partnerships. What You’ll Do: Identify, research, and connect with potential MSP/MSSP clients, proactively generating a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. Make 70+ outbound calls daily and leverage email and social networking to engage prospects and set up discovery calls and demos for the sales team. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the MSP/MSSP community, cybersecurity trends, and the competitive landscape. Consistently meet and exceed key sales metrics such as qualified demos scheduled, opportunities created, and pipeline growth. Log all interactions and track leads effectively using HubSpot and other sales enablement tools. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, improve processes, and contribute to overall revenue growth. What Makes You a Great Fit: You’re eager to win, work well in a quota-driven environment, and enjoy being part of a high-energy team. Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate value, inspire interest, and overcome objections. Sales can be challenging, but you have the drive to push through, learn from setbacks, and continuously improve. Ability to manage multiple prospects, track activities, and maintain accurate data in the CRM. Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus, as well as experience in IT, cybersecurity, or selling to MSPs. Requirements Location: Must be located in Tampa Bay, Florida. Hybrid role: Must come into the office three days per week.
