What a day at EXP has in store for you
Perform basic contract administration functions for civil transportation projects
Import information into Materials Acceptance and Certification Program (MAC)
Measure completed work to date
Read and comprehend contract documents
Keep inspectors’ daily reports of assigned work activities
Prepare monthly construction estimates
Monitor construction progress to ensure proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule, contract requirements, and state and local regulations
Assist in reviewing and modifying schedules, specifications and drawings. Prepare Supplemental Agreements and Work Orders per FDOT Specifications
Monitor EEO compliance documents
Assist Project Administrator with documenting meeting minutes
What Your Experience Looks Like
Engineering Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of road and bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience and related duties
Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project
Experience on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Expressway Authority, or other Federal Highway Administration funded projects
Proficiency in all computer programs required to perform the duties of this position
CTQP Certifications: Final Estimates Level 1 and 2
MS Word / Excel proficiency
