Position: Nurse Manager – Cardiology/Diagnostics (Full Time)
At Saint Francis Hospital, the Congestive Heart Failure Unit provides care to adults with a variety of medical diagnoses, including cardiac conditions such as AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker, ICD placements, and soon LVADs. Our newly renovated 32-bed unit is a nationally recognized Center Of Excellence for Heart Failure. Primary patient diagnosis on this unit is acute or chronic CHF.
What You’ll Do
Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput
Support performance management and regulatory compliance
Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence
Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment
Lead through change and innovation
Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication
Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current RN license in Connecticut
BSN from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred
MSN degree
Leadership experience or relevant certifications
Work Schedule
40 hours – Days – Full-time
