Overview
Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, using your people management experience to lead customer-centric teams and accelerate seasonal tax business. This role is not remote and requires in-person work. Responsibilities
Front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across three tax offices Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office-related growth objectives Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management Travel between offices as required Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment* Your Experience and Qualifications
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates Demonstrated aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset Computer proficiency in MS Office Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)* Why Work for Us
