Multi-Unit Team Leader at
H&R Block , leading three tax offices and their customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. Responsibilities
Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices; oversee customer-centric teams to grow the seasonal tax business. Lead the development of associates; deliver an outstanding client experience; achieve office growth objectives for all three offices. Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets; develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement. Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing tax office associate candidates; conduct timely performance reviews; escalate issues as needed. Build an engaging, high-performing team environment through training and coaching; lead daily team meetings; communicate essential information to associates. Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management; travel between offices as required. Prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Note: This role is in-person and not remote; part-time in the fall with transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. Qualifications / Expertise
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates. Experience executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture. Strong decision-making and judgment; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset. Computer proficiency, MS Office. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Benefits
