Buyer

What You Will Do We are currently searching for a Buyer to join our team in the US. The ideal candidate will be accountable for procurement of IT, non‑IT, and services requirements. The successful candidate should possess 4–6 years of procurement experience and a solid understanding of the purchasing process.
Responsibilities
Acquire IT, non‑IT, and services requirements in a prompt and cost‑efficient manner
Establish and uphold relationships with vendors and suppliers
Bargain contracts and terms with vendors to guarantee favorable pricing and delivery terms
Supervise and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are achieved
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements
Institute top‑notch processes for procurement of IT/non‑IT requirements
Aim & accomplish x% productivity/efficiency/cost savings year on year
Formulate RFI/RFP documents, examine total cost of ownership, and negotiate contracts including content and terms, for assigned product categories
Cultivate vendors, enhance speed & quality of items procured (IT and non‑IT)
Devises and executes sourcing plans, price justification, and cost analysis in accordance with requirements
Contributes to supplier development by evaluating performance and facilitating enhancements in cost, quality, and delivery
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
4‑6 years of procurement experience, preferably in IT, non‑IT, and services procurement
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
What You Will Bring
3‑5 years of progressive purchase and procurement experience with exposure in all categories of procurement including services
Proven ability to build and implement innovative approaches to procurement
Proven track record developing strong vendor relationships
Open to feedback and desire to learn and improve individual performance
Process and project management experience is a plus
Global cross‑cultural exposure and ability to multitask
Excel / supply chain tools knowledge
Pay Range $50,000 – $60,000 per annum
Work Requirements This role is an on‑site position located in Windsor, CT 06095.
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Shop floor environment, which may include extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Citizenship Requirement U.S. citizenship is required.
