Assist technicians and engineers who support safe, reliable, and cost‑effective energy delivery to customers across electric, gas, and steam products. Provide administrative support, project management support, data collection and analysis, forecasting support, strategy development support, and other operational support as needed. Participate in a coop program across multiple departments to gain broad-based knowledge of Con Edison of New York's structure and operations. Program Overview
The coop program runs year‑round as a part‑time paid program. Placements are across service territories (Five Boroughs of New York City and Westchester County) and are based on business needs and fit. Coops may have opportunities to transition to full‑time employment through programs like the Leadership Development Program (LDP) after graduation. Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree; must be a full‑time student enrolled in a four‑year college program (with at least 30 credits), have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater, and be majoring in one of the following business disciplines: Accounting, Marketing, Management, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance, Math or other business‑related majors. Preferred Education/Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree; must be a full‑time student enrolled in a four‑year college program (upper sophomore status or higher), have a GPA of 3.0 or greater, and be majoring in one of the listed business disciplines. Relevant Work Experience
– Strong work ethic, flexibility to meet assignments, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, high energy, and proficiency with software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional Qualities
– Self‑starter with integrity, initiative, resourcefulness, creativity. Additional Information
Physical demands may include System Emergency Assignment with non‑business hours during emergencies (nights, weekends, holidays).
