About the Role

As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. Day in the Life / Responsibilities

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities: You are responsible for supporting the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Representing yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility for your department's strengths and identifying commercial opportunities and working with your Department Manager to act on them. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team has the ability to work towards actively promoting and selling products to customers. Follow up that your team is actively promoting our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges. Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled in a correct way. Fashion & Trend Awareness: Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers, etc. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge as well as other relevant information during customer interactions. Team & Development: Retain and share knowledge and skills with the store team; collaborate with in-store Visual Merchandiser team; give and receive feedback to learn and support each other; communicate to inform, motivate and inspire daily or weekly. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution: Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house; ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial presentation; maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation; manage the full garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room routines; uphold in-store OMNI services and tech tools; ensure price signs are accurate and consistent; update BOH areas with key information and safety details; be responsible for opening and closing the store daily. Compensation: expected base salary range is $14.46-$17.06 hourly.
