Role summary: Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated Military Engines Global Trade Senior Manager to join our team. The position will be hybrid and based out of East Hartford, Connecticut.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will manage Global Trade (GT) digital strategy for Pratt & Whitney Military Engines.

Develop and manage a strategy for alignment across GT transactional and programmatic pillars and provide guidance, training and consultation on GT pillar policies and procedures (including ITAR/EAR jurisdiction and classification, export authorizations, sanctions/party due diligence, transfer process requirements).

Maintain strategies and processes for an effective, risk-assessed GT compliance program at both strategic and tactical levels for Military Engines.

Ensure GT compliance goals are supported within managed programs; provide guidance on Global Trade laws and controls; conduct training and risk assessments; assist with export plans for new activities/projects.

Ensure export strategies support the program’s strategic and transactional requirements; advise on tools, records management, scope of transfer authority, and parties.

Support the implementation of GT policies and procedures within program organizations; revisions to L3 policies, training, and deployment of GT requirements to ensure business standard work.

Support audits, investigations, incident management, remediation and continual improvement of metrics; lead or participate in investigations & disclosures as needed.

Support requirements for training and utilization of GT management tools.

Identify training needs and deliver GT compliance training for team members and programs.

Maintain awareness of changes to USG regulations, sanctions and P&W policies; ensure timely flow-down of changes with program considerations.

Contribute to periodic reporting, including control tower metrics, on export controls to multiple reporting channels.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in a legal, regulatory or global trade function, including cross experience leading/managing people; OR an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of experience with leadership experience.

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools restricted to individuals with US citizenship.

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
