Overview Chervon North America, Inc is a leading manufacturer of power tools and outdoor power equipment. The Business Development Manager | EGO role focuses on identifying and developing new strategic business opportunities to drive company growth in Outdoor Power Equipment with the EGO brand. The BDM builds and maintains relationships with current OPE users, explores new markets, and develops dealer network strategies to service tools and service users. The BDM operates in geographically defined territories and drives sales and profit growth.

Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Recruit and onboard new dealers in alignment with annual goals.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and lead generation. Generate end-user demand by conducting product demonstrations with key stakeholders such as landscapers, property managers, facility managers, contractors. Work with dealers/customers in territory to access end users. Develop partnerships with universities, municipalities, parks departments, resorts, golf courses, and other self-maintainer properties. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Dealer / Customer Support And Relationship Management: Provide training and ongoing sales support to dealers; foster long-term relationships; collaborate with dealers to expand their businesses through product demonstrations, line reviews, training, sales, and service support; generate end-user demand by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.

Channel And Marketing Support: Support EGO brand marketing at the dealer level; attend national/regional meetings; participate in industry events and trade shows; provide channel feedback on product performance and marketing initiatives.

Additional Duties: Earn trust and respect from stakeholders; manage travel/time efficiently; utilize CRM software to maintain records; perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Territory Manager or similar role within a dealer environment; familiarity with outdoor power equipment/construction supply is preferred.

Residency within the assigned territory is required.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets; strong business development and negotiation skills; customer-centric relationship management; financial acumen; ability to navigate complex challenges independently.

Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Travel This position requires 60-70% travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays. Must be capable of driving a company truck and pulling a company trailer as needed.
