Position Summary The Project Manager oversees restoration projects from initial loss to job completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role coordinates field crews, manages budgets and schedules, communicates with property owners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors, and ensures all work is performed in accordance with company standards and IICRC best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from start to finish.
Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal staff.
Create and manage job files in Xactimate, including estimating, documentation, and job costing.
Coordinate scheduling and oversight of technicians, subcontractors, and equipment deployment.
Ensure accurate scope documentation through photos, moisture logs, and job notes.
Review and approve daily job progress and ensure compliance with IICRC S500/S520 standards.
Monitor budgets, job profitability, and timelines to ensure projects meet company goals.
Facilitate communication between field teams, office staff, and customers to ensure a seamless experience.
Manage change orders, supplements, and insurance correspondence.
Conduct final walkthroughs with clients and obtain completion sign-off.
Support field teams with training, problem-solving, and quality control.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in water, fire, & mold restoration project management.
Proficiency with Xactimate, Encircle, or similar estimating/documentation platforms.
Strong understanding of insurance restoration processes and industry terminology.
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT).
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
