This is a structured hybrid position which requires working in our Owatonna, MN facility: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays are home office workdays. Therefore, candidates must reside within reasonable drivable distance to the facility.

Wenger Corporation is seeking a Project Cost Estimation Manager to join our team in Owatonna, MN. As a Project Cost Estimation Manager, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide exceptional customer experience by leading and coaching Project Cost Estimator's and Construction Specialist team responsible for providing superior service and support to both internal and external customers. This team provides technical information, sales proposals and bids to prospective customers. Manage long-term development of team members, systems and process efficiencies.
At a minimum, you'll need:
College degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of three (3) years' leadership experience
Strong product knowledge or the ability to learn product/application knowledge
Ability to read architectural drawings
Demonstrated computer skills

Epicor knowledge
A typical day may include:
Provides direct leadership, coaching, and support to ensure team members deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Facilitates regular team meetings and conducts one-on-one coaching to drive individual and team performance.
Writes and administers mid-year and year-end employee development plans.
Supports team coverage during vacancies or peak workload periods.
Tracks and analyzes monthly performance metrics at both team and individual levels, holding team members accountable to established goals.
Sets strategic direction for the team to promote growth, efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Develops and leads training programs focused on systems, processes, and best practices.
Maintains deep knowledge of company products, systems, and workflows to optimize team effectiveness.
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and implements enhancements to processes and systems.
Builds cross-functional partnerships to elevate the customer's experience and support broader organizational goals.
Participates in corporate initiatives, including strategic planning and system upgrades or implementations.
Serves on project teams as assigned, contributing subject matter expertise and team insights.
Adheres to all applicable workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, and standards.
Actively participates in leadership development and training programs.
