KOMPAN U.S. is looking for a

Project Coordinator

to work with our sales professionals and field project managers from the early planning stages of playground and outdoor fitness projects all the way through installation and project completion. Who We Are

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities. In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. What You’ll Do

Order preparation Auditing orders that have been sold; verifying that the order accurately represents what the customer wants Confirming with Solutions Partners that their orders are accurate taking into account the surfacing for footer verification Submit purchase orders for equipment considering requested timeline from customer Coordinate deliveries of third-party products to North American customers Collaborate with a team of designated sales professionals, third-party suppliers, and internal colleagues such as pre-sales coordinators and finance Provide insight to sales representatives and pre-sales coordinators when they are working on the sales quote Onboarding third party equipment vendors and surfacing suppliers Process an average of 30- 40 orders a week Communicate with customers the timeline of their orders Act as a primary contact for our customers Order management Ensure timely, accurate, and complete data in the project management software Coordinate with customers, sales representatives, third-party vendors, and logistics to ensure deliveries meet customer expectations Process change orders and adjust documentation to ensure financial accuracy and tracking of entire order Generate closeout documents and closeout email for each project Confirm vendor invoices are accurate and prepare purchase order for finance to invoice Complete pre-legal contract reviews, auditing for specific criteria and the scope of work of the project. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed before contract signing. Once fully onboarded, assisting with future training for new hires to the team and peers from other departments that are worked with directly What You’ll Need

3 or more years of professional experience High School Diploma/GED required; advanced education preferred Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills Microsoft Excel experience Experienced in pricing and calculating margins is a plus Ability to prioritize projects, and independently manage workload Understanding of construction is a plus A supportive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Perks and Benefits
