Position: Retail Customer Service Associate (FedEx Office)
The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to customers, anticipating needs, offering alternatives, and providing solutions. The role requires taking orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing and product information, recommending FedEx Office products and services, operating equipment, moving boxes, stocking materials, managing the production queue, and handling complex retail projects.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with store functions and staff training.
Provide consultative service to understand each customer’s individualized needs.
Offer expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping product lines, recommend appropriate FedEx Office products.
Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
Take complex orders, provide accurate pricing, assemble parcels, and prepare shipping items.
Set up and operate printing, binding, and related equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly retail store.
Handle financial transactions with POS, including cash, change, and financial paperwork.
Control inventory and store merchandising, follow SOPs, and comply with legal, HR, safety, and security policies.
Adhere to team and store standards, operate with minimal supervision, and seek self‑improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of specialized retail or customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Meet FedEx Office employment qualifications in effect at hiring.
Essential Functions
Stand for the duration of the shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
Move and lift up to 55 pounds.
Bend, twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
Perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction.
Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
Work with minimal supervision and report regularly to maintain business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a retail environment handling printing and shipping services.
Knowledge of FedEx Office products and services.
Pay: $20.75 - $24.37/hr
