DC Sr Process Imprv Project Mgr AutoZone

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Process Improvement Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a variety of projects across our distribution network, including construction, renovation, and process improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, ensuring all resources are aligned to achieve objectives on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Define project scope and set budgets

Develop RFP/RFQ, analyze proposals, and select providers

Negotiate contracts and deliver projects under budget and on time

Manage and track progress of multiple projects

Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members on DC systems, processes, and applications

Develop and maintain user-focused operational best practices documentation for DCs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges

Lead and develop team members on all DC systems, processes, and applications

Conduct feasibility analysis, including financial and engineering analysis for projects

Maintain and update weekly DC project lists, including job scope, estimates, costs vs. budget, approvals, testing, and schedules

Assist in training DC system users and promoting best business practices

Ensure accurate reporting to leadership

Manage on-site team implementations of projects

Collaborate with IT to determine the best hardware and software solutions for DCs

Lead user acceptance testing and identify debugging opportunities

Provide exceptional customer service to DCs with clear and concise communication

Ensure all DC labor standards, management systems, payroll systems, processes, hardware, and software are functional and up to date

Work in a safety-sensitive environment for DC travel

Complete other duties as assigned

Proven experience in project management, particularly in distribution centers or similar environments

Strong knowledge of DC systems, processes, and organization metrics

Excellent leadership and team development skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace

Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in an Analyst role (Operations, Financial, etc.), Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or DC Operations

Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), financial analysis, and preferred SQL proficiency

Agile Methodology experience

Project Management experience

High level of organizational skills and attention to detail required

Experience in Supply Chain operations is a plus
