Monday - Friday Partnered with a reputable facility 45 minutes from Columbus, Ohio, that has an opportunity for a skilled OB/GYN to provide locum coverage. About the Opportunity: Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3-5 days per week Call shifts available Level II nursery Daily Volume: 22-25 patients in clinic Delivery Volume: 850 per year, 70-80 per month Required Procedures: Colposcopies, biopsies, LEEP Support Staff: MA, LPN, RNs, CNM, scrub tech, and ancillary staff EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, hike or bike along riverfront trails, stroll through a downtown lined with historic architecture, and walk through botanical gardens and arboretums. Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered OB/GYN Ohio state license Graduate from a fully accredited OB/GYN program One year of work experience as OB/GYN One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
