Job Description: Project Manager at Enica Engineering
Enica Engineering, a division of Willdan Group Inc, provides services built on its industry-leading controls expertise and hands-on project delivery. Our services include project development, building automation engineering, control system optimization, energy metering, and field engineering. Our clients comprise major medical campuses, universities, hospitals, and pharmaceutical and industrial firms in the greater New York area. We are seeking a high-performing, proactive Project Manager who can self-start and deliver high value to clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, schedule-focused, and an excellent communicator capable of collaborating directly with senior client stakeholders daily. Core Requirements
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. Experience managing a team of high-performing engineering professionals. Proven ability to manage the delivery of soft deliverables such as reports and design documents. A desire for continuous self-improvement and growth into senior management roles as the company expands. Experience tracking scope, schedule, and budget plans versus actuals, understanding concepts like % complete, revenue forecasting, and accrual accounting. Experience with internal project reporting to upper management. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, project managers, and technical teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Current Covid and Flu vaccinations may be required due to client contract requirements. Preferred Skills / Experience
Knowledge of Building Management Systems / Building Automation Systems (BMS / BAS). Understanding of commercial building HVAC infrastructure (chillers, boilers, air handling units, etc.). Familiarity with NY / NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart). Knowledge of energy project finance and funding methods. Equal Opportunity Employment
