Role & Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership within a matrix organization.
Manage all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, and closing, including defining WBS, cost baseline, and OBS structure; developing work plans; controlling risks, scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead and manage teams by facilitating commitment, removing obstacles, and promoting productivity.
Implement and oversee quality and environmental processes to meet SPI and CPI performance indicators below 1.0.
Manage third-party projects involving transmission customers and interconnecting clients.
Be accountable for project costs, communication, change, schedule, construction oversight, regulatory, and stakeholder management.
Ensure successful project execution, monitor performance, and resolve contract disputes related to costs, scope, and schedule.
Qualifications / Requirements
5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager on large-scale electric utility projects.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Professional Engineer License and/or PMP Certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Minimum five years of experience in substation, T&D, gas-hydro, or OSG sectors.
