Overview

Production Coordinator - Raising Cane's River Center at ASM Global. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for the set-up, operation, and strike of events as well as general theater and equipment maintenance and assisting the Production Manager in advancing future events. This position adheres to safety requirements, procedures and codes while performing the following duties. Responsibilities

Work with co-workers, clients and sub-contractors in producing professional quality productions. Assist in the advance and preparations of Theater Events including the scheduling of staff and vendors. Attend Company and Client Meetings as Required. Supervise the successful operation on theater events. Supervise stage technicians and on-site vendors. Install, operate, and maintain house lighting, audio, and AV equipment and a counterweight and motorized fly rail system as required. Carry out assignments as directed by the Production Manager. Read stage plots, light plots, and other drawings for set-up requirements. Make incident reports involving accidents, building damage, or incidents involving outside companies in the building. Pickup and return facility equipment to proper storage areas. Maintain a clean working environment; ensure venue is ready for the next event. Notify supervisor of equipment in need of repair or when supplies are low. Follow facility dress code and grooming standards; adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment. Attend to and conform to ASM Global and Raising Canes River Center Complex policies. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience in show production and/or live entertainment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with minimal supervision. General knowledge of theatrical carpentry, lighting, sound, video, and basic rigging skills. Strong problem solving skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well under time constraints; good written, verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to read and comprehend instruction labeling. Ability to work irregular hours including night shifts, weekends and holidays. Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic. Computer knowledge. Ability to climb and work from lifts, ladders and catwalks for long periods; ability to move heavy objects up to 100 pounds as needed. Specific vision abilities required; may be exposed to moderate to extreme noise during events. Employment Type
