$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr What you’ll do

Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive department performance; utilize digital tools; use perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; reduce waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply Open Door Policy in executing business processes and practices. Qualifications
