Job Overview The BNPL Product Sales Specialist – LE Lead
is a key member of PayPal’s sales organization, charged with growing and strengthening PayPal merchant partnerships across the Americas. The focus is on the value‑driven sale of our BNPL, Pay Later, and PayPal Credit solutions, emphasizing solution selling and strategic partnership development.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead functional projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business trends.
Identify issues and recommend best practices to improve processes.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to analyse business trends.
Contribute to business or process improvements within the function.
Develop strategies to enhance product sales and customer satisfaction.
Expected Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferred Experience and Skills
5+ years of product solutioning or selling to senior executives at Fortune 1000 companies.
Deep expertise in consumer value mapping and BNPL customer needs.
Funnel conversion design and optimisation experience (fintech, B2B2C, or D2C).
Storytelling and values‑based selling expertise.
Experience working with C‑level executives in Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Strong analytical and ROI‑based proposal development.
Knowledge of payments, eCommerce, and omni‑acceptance solutions.
Proven track record of exceeding quota targets.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth for BNPL/Pay Later and PayPal Credit by aligning merchants’ needs with PayPal solutions.
Partner with front‑book Account Executives on new business deals and co‑sell into named accounts.
Support and maintain the US BNPL/Pay Later/PayPal Credit pipeline with accurate forecasting and account plans.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue cross‑sell opportunities.
Co‑manage the entire sales cycle with AEs, including prospecting, pre‑sales calls, customized presentations, ROI proposals, and contract negotiations.
Lead key prospecting activities and drive deals to successful closing and post‑live support.
Sell key products such as upstream messaging and button placement for BNPL, Pay Later, and PayPal Credit.
Deliver structured deal outcomes, including co‑marketing, case studies, exclusivity agreements, A/B testing, data sharing, and measurable value propositions.
Provide feedback to product, finance, legal, marketing, GTM, and sales enablement teams.
Demonstrate a positive impact on culture and team through learning sharing and trust building.
Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
Travel up to 40% of the time.
