The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the inbound and outbound flow of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations, involving receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. This role may perform manual and/or clerical duties using various systems and WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment. It includes planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks to support the manufacturing workflow, coordinating and monitoring workflow, and prioritizing activities in the distribution area while maintaining compliance with local, country and international guidelines. The role may also have responsibility for fulfillment administration and processes. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Distribution Team located in Hebron, Kentucky and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a Lean environment. Coordinate with other Supervisors to build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work volume forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and balancing labor across the facility. Communicate policies to associates, act as the primary information source for the team, maintain compliance and consistency, and take corrective action when required. Perform root cause analysis using the problem-solving process and 5 Why’s to develop a logical solution. Provide performance feedback and development opportunities to direct reports by holding monthly one-on-one meetings with associates using the Danaher standard form. The essential requirements of the job include:

High School Diploma with 8+ years experience, Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or Master’s degree with 3+ years experience 2+ years experience leading a team of 15+ associates in a warehouse environment Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Oracle Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications Lean/Six Sigma experience in a Continuous Improvement environment It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
