Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, NIL and Revenue Generation Monmouth University is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, NIL, and Revenue Generation. This position advances the mission of Monmouth Athletics through donor engagement, fundraising, alumni relations, and community outreach. The Senior Associate Athletic Director will work closely with the Director of Athletics and the Division of University Advancement to grow revenue in annual giving, marque events, NIL opportunities, and Blue/White Club membership to enhance visibility and support of the Athletics Department. This role is a member of the Director of Athletics’ Senior Leadership team and will have administrative oversight of select sport programs. The position adheres to policies and procedures of the Department of Athletics and University Advancement, as well as NCAA, conference, and applicable rules and regulations.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Outreach and Engagement: Assist the Director of Athletics with outreach and engagement efforts. Support donor relations and customer service on game days. Provide support for community/alumni relations and resource development in collaboration with head coaches on Game Day activities.

Giving: Assist with the preparation of an annual fundraising work plan, including strategic initiatives, gift table, and prospect pipeline to reach annual donor and dollar goals. Help establish annual departmental goals based on donor history, indicators, needs, and revenue opportunities.

Collaboration with University Advancement to expand and integrate Athletics into university-wide fundraising campaigns, including crowdfunding efforts and Annual Giving Days Campaign.

Provide oversight for sport-specific giving, including clubs, excellence funds, and business relationships related to student-athlete NIL and revenue-sharing.

Serve as liaison to the Monmouth Athletics Blue/White and Varsity Club, Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving.

Oversee all aspects of premium seating (football and basketball suites, Beer Gardens, club seats/levels) and support notable marque events (Athletics Hall of Fame, Student-Athlete Awards Show, Blue/White Club barbeque, Golf Outing, Homecoming, and others).

Coordinate with the Advancement team on special events focused on stewardship, donor recognition, team/program reunions, and game day hospitality.

Develop KPIs with administration to reflect current needs, funding priorities, and the university mission.

Meet regularly with the Director of Athletics, University Advancement, Varsity Club Executive Committee, and University Pub Committee to discuss concepts, strategies, and events related to the Athletics Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of five years of successful fundraising experience.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

Familiarity with collegiate athletics and basic understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.

Excellent organizational and budget management skills.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Blackbaud Raisers Edge.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work an irregular schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Able and willing to travel.

A valid driver’s license with no recent serious violations and limited moving violations as specified by university policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate degree.

More than five years of progressive experience in collegiate administration or athletics, with emphasis on fundraising and revenue generation.

Experience in managing premium seating including suites and club seating.

Experience with campus boosters and fan groups.
